At Detail Ease, we aim to get your order to you quickly, safely, and with full transparency. Below is everything you need to know about how we pack, ship, and deliver your products.
1. Order Processing Times

Orders are processed Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays.

Orders placed before 12:00 PM will usually ship same day.

Orders placed after 12:00 PM, on weekends, or on public holidays will ship the next business day.

During peak periods (sales, promotions, new product launches), processing times may extend by 1–2 days.
2. Delivery Timeframes
Delivery time depends on your location and chosen shipping method:
Main Centres (Johannesburg, Pretoria, Cape Town, Durban)

Estimated delivery: 1–3 business days
Regional Areas

Estimated delivery: 2–4 business days
Outlying / Remote Areas

Estimated delivery: 3–7 business days
These timeframes are estimates provided by our couriers. Once the package is handed over, delivery may vary based on their operational factors.
3. Shipping Rates

Shipping is calculated at checkout based on your location and cart size.

We sometimes offer free shipping promotions — these will be clearly displayed on the website when active.

Express or priority delivery options may be available depending on your region.
4. Order Tracking

Once your order is dispatched, you will receive an email/SMS with your tracking link.

Tracking may take a few hours to update after leaving our warehouse.

If your tracking number shows no movement after 48 hours, please contact us and we’ll assist.
5. Delivery Issues (Delays, Lost Parcels, Damages)
Delays
While uncommon, courier delays can happen. We’ll assist wherever possible, but delivery timing is ultimately dependent on the courier.
Lost Parcels
If you believe your parcel is lost:

Contact us immediately at sales@detailease.co.za

We will escalate with the courier.

After the courier’s investigation, we will replace or refund your order as needed.
Damaged Parcels / Products
If your order arrives damaged:

Email us within 48 hours with photos of the box and item(s).

We will arrange a replacement.
6. Incorrect Address or Failed Delivery

Please double-check your shipping details at checkout.

If an incorrect address is provided and the order is returned to us, re-delivery fees may apply.

Courier attempts vary by region. If delivery is unsuccessful due to customer unavailability, the courier may reschedule or request collection at a local depot.
7. Click & Collect

You’ll receive a notification when your order is ready.

Collection must be done within business hours at the specified location.

ID or order number is required for pickup.
8. International Shipping
At this time, we do not offer international shipping directly from the website. For bulk or special orders outside South Africa, please contact us.
